This is my first time to study in USA. Almost 5 months left, I'm very miss my parents, sisters, car and also my friends. From my first day in Chicago until now, I called to my parents everyday before I go to bed. I wanna say " How are you?, Love you Mom and Dad, Did you eat your lunch yet? etc". What's about you? How often do you talk with your family?

I am far away from my country around a year. I am from country with amazing nature, mounts and sea. In my country the people are so polite and frendly, thats why I miss my country. I miss my family at all. My parents' home is my private world in my country. I miss so much this place. They give me and show me everytime how they love me. I am so proud with my family and my country.

My family is so far from here, when I have morning, they have night in China. I have a good point because I have some relatives here, I can also have my family life here. I can speak Chinese, and eat Chinese food. I think this is the most difficult thing for most people whc are far away from their family. Also, the improved technoloy proviods the conviencefor me to connect my parents. I think I have good life here, and I enjoy it too. Although sometimes I want to eat some special food form China.

I'm thousand miles away from my country and I do miss it every single day but I'm actually grateful that I'm here. Although home will always be different I'm kind of getting used to my life here and besides that my mom and dad visit me every now and then so I don't feel home sick much. My brother and sister are also here anyway so I'm not really alone. But if I was alone here I would be really sad and I might just come back home.

Do you miss your country?? It is a good question for me. Of course, whoever has been far awary from their country would have same feeling that im having right now. I have been far away from Thailand now toatl almost four years. Thailand is the land of smile, land of good food, nice people, nice place and ect. I miss my family and friends a lot even though i called them usually but it couldn't help to stop my feeling...i miss my country and my family.

If is an answer of yes or no I will say YES , why?? because wasn’t my decision to come to the USA , was because I have to leave for problems with my parents but now everything is ok, I just got back from Guatemala and I’m missing more there, more now in the winter time, because the weather in Guatemala is so wonderful all the time, for that reason Guatemala is called “the land of the eternity spring”. If you go there you will find a lot of beautiful places.

I have been in the US for last 2 years and even though I have part of my family here, still I miss my country,my people so much. Thanks to the advancement of technology..... we can call our people anytime and don't have to wait in line to make a call as I have heard some people saying back then they had to book a call and leave the rest to luck.
