Do you like street running? In the winter is very hard but I try to run when the temperature is not below 25F.

I always have the idea to work out liking jogging or going to the gym, but the problem is I don't have much determination to keep on doing it. I tried before, sadly, it only lasted several weeks. I think if you have a company and do it together on a regular basis, it probably works. Because when you have someone with you, you will have more motivation to do it. You guys can push each other. So my suggestion is that you should probably find a partner first.

I don't like street running. And I'll explain why. Last year in February I tried to do jogging every day. After a week or even less I felt a pain in my knees. The pain wasn't like muscular pain. It was a pain in my joints. After I was diagnosed by the doctor, I was told that for some people jogging can be very dangerous, especially outdoors. Because when you run in the gym, you have a rubber pad underneath you. It allays the pressure on your joints a little bit. But still it is not very good. The most healthier thing is stretching. Try bikram yoga, I love it!!!!

I stretch during my running training. I try to follow the basic rules, like use the right clothes and especially the right shoes. I've been running for years, so, I respect my limits. As well I focus some exercises for my knees. I like yoga as well, although my stretching is no good at all. But at least once a week I try to do. .

Sometimes is very cold for me but I get inspired when I see people running in the cold. Then I challenge myself.

In Mongolia people don't run outdoors as much as Americans do. Probably its because of the air pollution. When I saw people running in heavy rain or snow and even freezing cold, it really was inspiring. I gained a lot of weight when I came to USA to be honest, and I was really lazy to exercise, but when I see people running during bad weather conditions it really inspires me. Its a good culture to copy...running a lot....

I love winter but I don't feel able to leave my home and go running or jogging through the snow, so I prefer to go to the gym and jogging in a jogging machine while i am watching the snow through the windows' gym lol

I think if you like running don't let to do it, just take care of yourself and keep working your body out with some tips for running outside during winter 1. Love Your Layers: The key to a successful run is layers, which help keep your body temperature at a safe level. 2. Pick the Right Fabrics: We are lucky to live in a technologically advanced time where there are new, modern types of fabric available for running in the cold. Materials such as polypropylene, capilene and some wool/synthetic blends wick moisture away from your body, and keep you warm and dry. 3. Wear a Shell: It’s critical that you wear some sort of waterproof windbreaker or shell to protect you from the wind and precipitation. Gore-Tex or Nylon are great options to achieve this "safety shell" that blocks cold bursts of wind. 4. Don't Be Exposed: On the most frigid day, cover any exposed skin. A hat and gloves are absolutely necessary once the temperature flirts with freezing. Your body will lose the majority of its heat through any exposed skin, so cover up as much as possible. If it's really cold, you can cover exposed areas such as your face with petroleum jelly.
