I like to give a tip 20% . But not always!! it depend on how service they are! I will be appreciated to give more than 20% of my tip to a nice person and wonderful services. If some person is ok, but not that great! I will give them 18% for the tip. If the restuarant is busy and I have to wait for long time and then they give me the bad service, either. I will give them 18% but they take care me very well;good service, I will give them 20% or more than that. I know it might be hard to concentrate customers. But if they try the best, they should get the best ,too.

Most of us know that we should tip at restaurants 15 to 20 percent of the bill. I always pay 20%. but sometime it depends on the service. If waitresses do the bad job. it goes down.

For me it was something new in this country and I couldn't get used to it. I very seldom eat out but I think it's worth tipping very good service because waiters get paid really low so they need to get tips, this is what they count for.

Leaving 20% tip is the avarage. However, if you are very happy with you server, you can always express your gratitude by tipping them more I used to bartend, so I know how important tips are. I always tip about 30 % of the bill, sometimes more, depending on the person who's serving me. Of course I've been served by terrible, rude people...I don't think i've ever left less than 20% even for bad service.
